GHWI tracks developments in housing markets on a quarterly basis in countries around the world, and provides a broad audience with current data on house prices, as well as metrics used to assess valuation in housing markets. Key decision makers in the private and public sectors turn to the IMF's Global Housing Watch for the analyses, data and reports it provides. Through our VoxHousing portal, we aim to lend and exchange ideas for the betterment of all parties. In the same vein, we offer counsel in one-on-one meetings, sponsors' conferences, seminars, and events of the variety.
Our projects run parallel with the objectives set forth by the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Sustainable Cities and Communities is the eleventh goal of the United Nations Development Programme's seventeen Global Goals. The Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity. These 17 Goals build on the successes of the Millennium Development Goals, while including new areas such as climate change, economic inequality, innovation, sustainable consumption, peace and justice, among other priorities.
